Cookie Policy

Effective date: 23 March 2026 · Controller: Draxylonshul · Website: draxylonshul.world

This Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies (“cookies”) when you visit our website. It complements our Privacy Policy. For personal data related to cookies, we act as the controller unless a third-party tool processes data as an independent controller—see their documentation linked where relevant.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. They often contain an identifier, a site name, and a duration. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and server-side logs that can store identifiers. Together, we refer to these as “cookies” in this Policy when they perform comparable functions.

2. Why we use cookies

We use cookies to:

  • Enable basic operation of the website and security (strictly necessary).
  • Remember your cookie consent choices.
  • Where you choose to allow analytics, measure traffic and usage patterns.
  • Where you choose to allow marketing, support relevant campaigns or measure performance.

3. Legal bases

Under the ePrivacy Directive as implemented in Finland and EU Member States, storing or accessing information on your device is permitted for strictly necessary cookies without consent. For non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing), we rely on your consent under GDPR and ePrivacy, obtained through our cookie banner and settings. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing stored preferences or adjusting your browser.

4. Cookie categories we use

4.1 Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the website to function. Examples include:

  • Session and security cookies: maintain session integrity, mitigate abuse, and protect forms.
  • Consent storage: record your choices so we do not repeatedly show the same banner without need.
  • Load balancing: technical identifiers used by hosting infrastructure.

We do not use these cookies for advertising. You cannot disable them through our banner because they are essential; your browser may still block them globally, but parts of the site may not work.

4.2 Analytics cookies

If you enable analytics, we may deploy analytics tools that collect pseudonymous data such as:

  • Pages viewed, session duration, bounce rates, and navigation paths.
  • Device category, browser type, operating system, approximate region.
  • Referrer URL and campaign parameters when present.

We configure analytics to reduce identifiability where possible (e.g., IP truncation or aggregation). Data may be processed by our analytics providers as processors under our instructions.

4.3 Marketing cookies

If you enable marketing, we may use cookies or pixels to:

  • Measure whether adverts led to visits or purchases.
  • Build audience segments for retargeting where permitted.
  • Limit how often you see the same creative.

We do not sell your personal data for money. If we use advertising partners, we select partners with appropriate agreements and transfer tools where data leaves the EEA.

5. Storage duration

Cookie lifetimes vary:

  • Session cookies: deleted when you close the browser (session).
  • Persistent cookies: remain for a defined period (e.g., 30 days to 24 months) depending on the tool and purpose.
  • Consent records: stored long enough to prove consent was obtained.

Exact expiry is set by each cookie and may be updated when we change tools.

6. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by third parties whose services we integrate (e.g., analytics, video embeds, or social plugins). Those providers may combine data with other data they hold. Review their privacy notices for full details.

7. Managing cookies

You can control cookies in several ways:

  • Our banner: use “Accept all”, “Reject”, or “Cookie settings” on the homepage and other pages.
  • Browser settings: block or delete cookies; see your browser help.
  • Industry tools: for advertising, you may use regional opt-out pages where available.

Rejecting non-essential cookies may limit certain convenience features but does not block core browsing.

8. Do Not Track

There is no uniform global standard for “Do Not Track” signals. We prioritise consent choices you make through our banner and browser controls.

9. Updates to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we introduce new tools or legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where appropriate.

10. Local storage and session storage

Beyond cookies, we may store small data objects in your browser’s local storage or session storage for similar purposes, such as remembering UI preferences or caching non-sensitive session identifiers. These technologies fall under the same consent rules as non-essential cookies when they are not strictly necessary.

11. Pixels and tags

Marketing integrations may use invisible pixels (tracking pixels) embedded in pages or emails. Pixels load a remote resource and can signal that a page was viewed or an email was opened. We only activate marketing pixels when you have consented to marketing cookies or, for email, when you have subscribed to communications.
